This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.
Infection Connection:
The Science Scouts gathered to discuss the scientific fundamentals of human infections particularly H1N1 and learned about ways to minimise risk. Then a simple game is played to analogously demonstrate how highly infectious diseases can quickly spread in a population.

Clucking Cup:
The Science Scouts explored concepts of energy conversion through the 'clucking cup'. Sound is created from friction generated by the rubbing motion against a piece of string. Science Scouts also explored their artistic side as they enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the cups.
