Senior Science Scouts: Jasraj, Ummeesh, Khavishini, Darshwini, Shaz, Zharif, Azhary, Desmond
It's an ALL TROOP meeting! With 4 Troops over 4 fun years, it's always great having everyone together. This time, it's the annual Science Olympics! In mixed troop teams, the Science Scouts explored physical science phenomenon and tested their science trivia in a series of games.
THE SCIENCE OLYMPICS
Slime Trail
The Science Scouts explored the unique properties of slime in the first challenge. With a small spoon, Science Scouts needed to move as much slime as they can across the track. Science Scouts will discover how slime can be as fluid as liquid and at times, acting fairly solid! A lot of slow motion spills add interest for the audience!Slime Trail

Cotton-Ball Relay
The Science Scouts then had to work as a team and like a conveyor belt, transport fluffy cotton balls one at a time using a spoon. Science Scouts discovered that fast forceful motions will result in the cotton ball drifting away so slow and deliberate actions are required.
Troop 3 members, Yen Khing and Adam focused on the transfer.
Spelling Bee
The Science Scouts expanded their science vocabulary by learning new terms and being challenged to spell them correctly!
True or False
The Science Scouts tested their science knowledge when they are required to decide whether the science statements given are true or false.
More photos coming up!
