Special Session of the Senior Science Scouts

Attention to all Science Scouts who are in Secondary school and to all Senior Science Scouts, there will be a Special Session of the Senior Science Scouts (S5) for all of you on Saturday, 19 February, with registration at 10am.

TO THOSE WANTING TO BE A SENIOR:
For Science Scouts intending to apply to be a Senior Science Scouts, this is your last chance to do so for 2011! All Science Scouts who are in Secondary school can apply to be a Senior. If you would like to apply, please attend the S5. The success of your application will depend on how well you perform in the two challenges that you will be asked to complete.

TO CURRENT SENIORS:
This is a refresher for existing Seniors and an orientation for new Seniors! You'll take part in the challenges with those applying to be Seniors, providing support, gaining knowledge, and helping the Troop Leaders. You will also be briefed on what to expect in 2011.

The Special Session of the Senior Science Scouts begin at 10am and will end by 1:45pm. Lunch is provided.



A SPECIAL INVITATION TO CURRENT SENIORS:

At 2pm, there will be a briefing for a special project for 2011. We are inviting interested Senior Science Scouts to attend this hour-long session. The project involves starting up of a Science Scout e-Newsletter, through this blog and on Facebook. If you love to write, take photographs, and are inquisitive, plus can spare a few minutes every week, we want you to join us!

Once this project is firmed up, we will invite other Science Scouts to join too.
