- Circle of Energy:
  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.

- Science Quiz
  • The Science Scouts took part in a quiz to assess their general science knowledge. Questions asked are based on the Primary school syllabus.

  • Science Scouts dabbled in creative writing in order to express science knowledge. Science Scouts used poetry to communicate about animals in the zoo.

  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.

- SPEED Visit
  • The Science Scouts paid a learning visit to the SPEED exhibition.

- Science Games
  • Science Scouts took part in a Science Games challenge where they participated in a series of games testing their general science knowledge.

Activities:
- Circle of Energy:
  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.

- Geotime Diorama Challenge
  • This is an activity sheet designed for Primary school-going visitors to the Geotime Diorama. The Scouts were each given two activity sheets that required them to answer questions and solve puzzles with answers found in the Geotime Diorama.

- Grow Your Own Yeast
  • Science Scouts were introduced to yeast and experimented with different liquids and temperatures to see how it affected yeast growth.
