Troop 3: Meeting 3

Coordinators:
Ain, Ash, Yati

Activities:
- Circle of Energy:
  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage teamwork and cooperation.

- Betty the Bat:
  • Science Scouts were treated to a storytelling session; the tale of Betty the bat! They then crafted their own bats with a paper bag, bits and pieces of paper, stationery and a whole lot of creativity.

- Splashing Colour, Grinding Stones:
  • The Science Scouts took a trip to the past and learnt how cave drawings were created. Art at that time consisted of the colours of nature as hues and pigments made by man then was from what they could find around them. Science Scouts took a page from that and using natural materials like soil and charcoal, they grind them and used it to create wonderful art!
