- The Petrosains Senior Science Scouts is an extension of the Science Scouts program where Troop members who are now in Secondary school can continue to be a part of the regular meetings but as a co-facilitator!
Who can apply?
- To apply, you must have graduated from any Science Scouts Troop and you must currently be in Secondary school.
How much will it cost?
- Membership fee is only RM50 a year and you will get full access to Petrosains!
- Terms and conditions do apply. Membership fee is only for participation as a Senior Science Scout. Other programs or activities may incur a separate fee which will be informed in advance.
What do the Senior Science Scouts do?
- Senior Science Scouts will be co-facilitators, assisting and learning from the Troop leaders. You will gain experience in managing the program, designing and facilitating learning activities, and gain useful communication, managerial, and leadership skills!
- Senior Science Scouts can come for as many meetings as they like with an opportunity to learn something new every time. There will also be a whole new set of badges to earn in many new areas!
- Senior Science Scouts can also choose to experience the Pre-Jamboree Camp for one extra night in Petrosains at the end of the year! This is subject to change and terms & conditions apply.

- Email or call your Troop leaders and let us know! Successful applicants will receive your new handbook in March with everything you need to know.
- Closing date is before 1 March 2010! If you miss it, you can apply again in 2011.
