Troop 2: Meeting 14

Activities:
- Circle of Energy:
  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.

- Wind Tube Exploration:
  • A prototype Wind Tube was built and with provided materials, Science Scouts are challenged to explore how different materials and combinations of them move and behave in the wind tube. They were challenged to build objects that will rise the fastest as well as objects with interesting and unique flight patterns.

Troop 2: Meeting 13

Activities:

- Circle of Energy:
  • This is an energiser activity to foster team cohesiveness and to encourage bonding.

- SPARKZ your Inventiveness:
  • Science Scouts went to the newly opened exhibition area, SPARKZ, where they had a chance to engage with the exhibits and enhance their innovative thinking skills. To maximise their learning experience, they were also given a worksheet to complete based on their interaction with the exhibits. After the visit, a short discussion was held to discuss the worksheet.
