Troop 4: Meeting 5

Troop Leaders: Daniel, Yati, Ash, Ain

Senior Science Scouts: Ummeesh, Desmond, Khavishini, Darshwini, Shaz

It's Mother's Day weekend and Troop 4 of the Petrosains Science Scouts did an activity that celebrated Mothers everywhere in addition to helping Mother Earth!

Bottle Biology

The Science Scouts did a popular Petrosains activity, "Bottle Biology" where empty plastic water bottles are repurposed into special pots for plants that hardly needs watering. With help from the Senior Science Scouts and the Troop Leaders, Troop 4 did a great job building their 'pots' which were then creatively and beautifully decorated as a gift for their Moms!

And for Mothers everywhere, a special Science Scouts Mother's Day greeting:

Meeting 5 Sneak Peek

Here's a clue to what we'll be doing this Saturday! Plus, Troop 4, we want you to bring one or two used plastic bottles (500ml mineral water bottles work great!). Interesting shapes and colours will be fun to have and feel free to bring more to share or swap with your friends.

Senior Science Scouts, as usual, let us know if you're coming (and you can help us bring some bottles too!).
